What happens during diagnosis

Diagnostic fees cover real bench time — not a glance and a shrug. Depending on the gear, that can include:

Visual inspection for burned parts, bad solder, corrosion, and mechanical damage
Safe power-up and idle checks
Signal tracing through the path that failed
Component testing where the fault points
Isolation of intermittent issues (heat, vibration, channel switching)
Load testing when the repair is complete — before it leaves the shop
